As a community, we pledge to develop towards an international
environment where our bodies, as people negated by systems of
exploitation, can be expressed, and consequently can be driven to
produce against means of repression. We pledge to fight against the
systems which funnel gender, sexuality, race, caste, and class into
assimilation and negation. Bigotry will not be tolerated within our
community, under our collective fight for expression over repression.
This means we deny the notion that accessibility should be assimilated
into a closed ecosystem, where only the privileged can obtain the
means to make their lives accessible, and where the public cannot
orchestrate the means which produce accessibility themselves. We want
a democracy of the production behind accessibility, and we will fight
for it as a source of expression in a world that negates and represses
our bodies, and the relationship our bodies have with the world.
We do not tolerate the colonial settler projects of the west, in their
eugenicist project to assimilate our bodies and our desire into their
accepted structures.
This means we will not tolerate the Israeli, Zionist settler project
as it decimates the people of Palestine. This means we will not
tolerate the material exploitation of the “third-world” as they are
forced into western servitude. This means we will not tolerate the
negation of the queer subject. This means we will fight against the
forces that manufacture race; the forces that set forth racism through
negation. This means we will fight for our bodies, as a collective.
And in this fight, accessibility will be our vector for change.
We will hold ourselves accountable to abide by these fundamental
principles of thought.
